Athena is the sole herbalist and therapist of this practice. Athena has always had an interest in pursuing natural therapies. However, it was her own healing process that encouraged her to become a herbalist. 

In 2002, Athena was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and was paralysed from the neck down. She began her health journey by seeing a neurologist, but after following their recommendations for several months and not seeing any positive change, she decided to pursue a different path. Athena was referred to see Catherine Chan, a highly regarded herbalist, who significantly improved Athena’s situation within six months. Through overcoming her own health challenge, Athena developed a passion for herbology and assisting others. 

Athena studied under Dorothy Hall and graduated with an advanced diploma in classical herbal medicine. Upon the completion of her studies, Athena opened her clinic. Athena continuously seeks to expand her knowledge in natural therapies and also passes on this knowledge through various talks and lectures she presents and attends. 

Since graduating, Athena continuously attends courses held by Catherine Chan and other practitioners on natural therapies, including Iridology, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Athena’s driving force is to find a tailored solution to assist people to recover from their health concerns.

Finding natural, sustainable solutions to chronic conditions can be achieved through natural remedies. Athena is curious to delve deeper into the mechanics of, and discover ways to gently heal, the body.
